Arokodare Determined to Earn Super Eagles Call-Up

 

Tolu Arokodare is eagerly anticipating his first appearance for the Super Eagles after earning a spot in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The KRC Genk striker, who has been in red-hot form in the Belgian Pro League, received his maiden call-up last week. He reinforced his credentials by scoring in Genk’s 2-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise, taking his league tally to 17 goals this season.

Still soaking in the moment, the 24-year-old expressed his emotions ahead of his potential debut.

“I still don’t know how to feel. It’s a mix of only great feelings for my family and me. I can’t wait to put on that shirt,” Arokodare shared.
